Here is a list of the Oklahoma real estate broker continuing education currently under development.

  • Ethics in Real Estate - This online course covers duties to clients and customers, duties to the public, duties to brokers, and case studies.
  • Tax Free Exchanges - The topics included in this course covers the basics of a tax free exchange of investment property. Topics covered include requirements of a tax free exchange, types of exchanges and the methods for transferring title when an exchange takes place.
  • Overview of Real Estate Law - The subject matter of this continuing education course will cover themes such as provisional status, reciprocity agreements, real estate forms, continuing education, prelicensure, and the Oklahoma Real Esate Commision.
  • Contracts and Closing Statements - This course will provide knowledge for preclosing procedures, RESPA, closing staements, prorations, contracts used in real estate, discharge of contracts, federal and local laws and requirements, and pertinent legal information.
    These are the current requirements for renewing your Oklahoma Real Estate Broker license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.

  • To renew your Real Estate Broker License in the state of Oklahoma, you are required to complete 21 hours of continuing education every 3 years.
  • 9 continuing education hours must be in required subjects. The remaining 12 hours must consist of elective subjects. Real Estate Broker Licenses are issued for a period of three years; continuing education must be completed prior to expiration.
  • The required subjects will be on topics such as Professional Conduct, Fair Housing, Broker Relationships Act, and Hot Topics (which will consist of different issues ranging from Code and Rule updates to Major Industry Concerns).
  • Licensees are encouraged to maintain a record of continuing education course completion.
